We would like to inform you about an allergen change on the below products:
Due to potential traces of Soya contamination in the raw materials in this product, the ingredient declaration will be updated to add a ‘May contain Soya’ statement.
We would like to inform you that no stock has been affected by this. It does not mean that all products will contain Soya, it is a precautionary statement included to protect consumers allergic to Soya from an unlikely potential cross contamination of Soya.
Please see attached product specification to reflect the changes in allergen declaration.
Please ensure that the change in allergen declaration is communicated to your relevant customers:
- Serve Over/ Hot food service counter: All allergen information must be updated at point of sale to include “May contain Soya”
- Cash and Carry: The revised labelling will reflect the correct allergen declaration on the product.
- This change will be effective from the next production run with Best Before October 2025 which is expected to enter the market in 8 weeks from today.
We would like to reassure you that the presence of soya is only a food safety concern for consumers with an allergy to soya and that once the point-of-sale allergen information has been updated to reflect the presence of soya this product can be sold as usual.
